A Last Will and Testament is a statement of what a person wants done with their estate (their property and posessions) after they die.  You can create a will by yourself, online wih a legal services website or with an attorney (the recommended method if you can afford it).  Saying that you need "a will" is not an adequate description as there are other "will" documents (ex. Living Will) that serve different purposes.
