Killing in the Name - Forever Raging Against the Machine

Warning – this post is rated R for excessive language and profound truth

Rage Against The Machine

I am always amazed at how people can say in 10 words what it takes me 100 to say.  Most of them are poets or musicians, philosophers or speakers.  All walks of life are represented when speaking out against evil and for people.  Black, white, young and old; people can see when something is wrong and they are blessed when they can voice the bottled up feelings and emotions of others.  So in that spirit I will post some lyrics from Rage Against the Machine, one of my favorite bands from the 90’s.  Killing in the Name was originally released in 1992 and nearly 20 years later in December 2009 it was #1 on the charts (read full article here).  If words mean something, they will stand the test of time.

Remember people - we are all different and should respect each other’s desires, beliefs, goals and aspirations.  That is what this site is all about and may God bless you all.

17 Years after Initial Release, “Killing in the Name” is #1 on the Charts

Although the song repeats these lyrics, this is it – masterfully crafted into a timeless song:

Killing in the name of

Some of those, that work forces are the same that burn crosses

And now you do what they told ya

Those who died are justified, wearing a badge

They’re the chosen whites

Now you do what they told ya, now you’re under control

Fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me

Motherfucker
