If I Knew This 10 Years Ago

Did you ever figure something out or have somebody tell you something and you say to yourself “If I would have only known that 10 years ago”.   If you would have had that information you could have saved yourself from financial pain, stress, relationship problems or some other avoidable issue.

This is the place to share those things that you’ve figured out.  After all, why should everybody make the same mistake?   To look at it more positively – if you found the keys to the kingdom, why wouldn’t you want to open the door for your brother?

You know now so you can still grow with your new found knowledge. What do you think will make you happier  regretting what you were denied getting ? OR passing on this new experience you gained  to a young brother who is now at a fork in his journey!

A new car loses over 10% of its value as soon as you drive it off the lot.  If I would have known this before I would never have bought any new cars.  Check this link: http://afrodaddy.com/money/how-buy-car-without-throwing-your-money-away

Live insurance is the 1 GUARANTEED way to make your children rich and it is much cheaper to get when you are young than when you are older.  Wait until you are over 40 to get your life insurance and you will pay a premium or you may not even be able to get it.  Do this early and save!

The sooner you invest in stocks the sooner your money can accumulate.  Of course you have to be smart and make smart picks but the sooner you make your money work for you the better you will be.  Next time before you waste that extra $500 tax refund or bonus check, think about investing it - anywhere.

Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want.  The worst that you can get is a "no".  The best is getting what you want!

Most Americans operate based on self-interest.  What is going on with “my” job? How do “I” feel?  What about “me” and “my family”? These are the most important questions in America, and they go way beyond basic human self-preservation.  History shows that Americans will turn a blind eye to holocausts, slavery, torture, poverty and human rights violations and will only act when their own self-interest is threatened.  To be successful in business, play to the self-interest of people.  The more you satisfy a person’s self-interest, the more successful your business will be.  From a personal standpoint, do not be surprised when people turn a blind eye to your needs if satisfying them is not in their own best interest.BTW This is not good or bad – it just “is”.  Live in reality and be successful

How many people have had someone sit them down & teach them about properly and consciously relating to the opposite sex?   I'm almost willing to wager that hadly anyone gets adequately prepared before they jump into a romantic situation where they get messed over or over someone else.  It doesn't have to be this way though.Perhaps a shift in the culture is needed where some real wisdom in this area deliberately gets passed on to the younger generation before the crushes and attraction distraction even begins.

Landmark Education is a place where people can go to interact in group seminars to learn how to live life positively, redefine what is possible, focus on the future and let go of the past.  After taking the Landmark introduction course I had the same experience that every other person I talked to has had - I wish I would have done it sooner.  Landmark really helped me understand how to let go of the past, live in the present and understand that anything is possible for my future (if I can be a little "unreasonable" and go after it).  It is a little expensive but I highly recommend it.

That was really tragic. Therefore, safety precautions must really be initiated in any institution to refrain this from happening again. All of us must really be careful in trusting someone, because trust is never imposed, but rather it is earned.Scanner

I went through the Landmark Forum a few years ago myself.  I can definitely bear witness that it challenges you to identify and acknowledge whats holding you back and equips you with the tools to dissolve obstacles at will.Highly Recommended.
