Human Outreach Agency

The Flagg Street House is a 20 bed housing program in the City of Hayward. It provides shelter for men for up to 90 days, gives three times the amount of case work, and its residents are experiencing some of the highest success rates in Alameda County.

Operation Dignity

Operation Dignity has been providing emergency and transitional housing to homeless veterans and non-veterans since 1993. We are a full-fledged non-profit 501(c)(3) veteran run, service-enriched provider serving the homeless veterans and displaced populations of Alameda County. Our goal is to provide safe housing, nutritious meals, and a full array of services to help primarily homeless veterans and non-veterans so they can being their rehabilitation process. All of our housing offer clean and sober residences with on-site support for sobriety and other self-help groups.

Greater Richmond Interfaith Program (GRIP)

GRIP is a vibrant and robust community outreach, advocacy and homelessness prevention organization encompassing over forty-one Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Buddhist member congregations and individuals. Together, we work to address critical issues of human dignity and social justice that affect the poor, the homeless and the disenfranchised.

Today, our focus is on three core initiatives: providing food, shelter and supportive services to help homeless individuals and families make the transition to self-sufficiency.
