Sanaa (which means "brilliance" in Arabic) Lathan is one of the most accomplished black actresses in Hollywood. To date, Ms. Lathan has appeared in almost 20 films and has been the leading lady in several to include the wildly popular 2001 film Love and Basketball for which she won the Image and BET Awards for Best Actress. Sanaa has also appeared in Blade, The Wood, The Best Man, and Alien vs. Predator.
In addition to being featured on screen, Sanaa also does voice over work and is currently the voice of Dona Tubbs on The Cleveland Show which runs on the Fox network.
