Keri Hilson is a rising star in the R&B industry. Although singing since the age of 12, her professional career started in the mid-2000s as a songwriter in the five-man writing team of The Clutch. In March 2009, Hilson released her first solo album In a Perfect World, which became the #1 album on the R&B/Hih-Hop Albums chart and went on to become certified gold. She got critical praise for the album as well, receiving two Grammy nominations.
Her second album, No Boys Allowed was released in December 2010, and it appears she is picking up right where she left off. She has a strong and growing fan base and is defeintely known for her talent and beauty. The industry seems to think so as in April of 2010 she became the new face of Avon, replacing Jennifer Hudson in that role.
