The women are coming, the women are coming! Unless you’ve been living under a rock you should know that professional basketball is not just about the NBA anymore. The WNBA has a league full of talented and explosive women and perhaps none as dynamic as Candace Parker.
After a brilliant college career at Tennessee, Candace burst onto the WNBA scene in 2008 as the 1st overall pick in the draft. Showing that she earned the right to be the first pick Candace scored 34 points in her first game; led the league in rebounds and double-doubles; was selected to the all-star game; and won both the WNBA Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year Awards. As if this wasn’t amazing enough, Candace became only the second player in WNBA history to dunk a basketball in a game, and is the only woman to have ever dunked in multiple games in a season. Considered by many as one of the best players in the game, Candace can play all 5 positions and before her career is over she could redefine women's basketball.
It shouldn’t be fair that a woman so talented is so physically beautiful, but the fact of the matter is that Candace Parker is one of the most attractive women on the planet, athlete or not.
